Create & Rent Your Edge
Seats & Staking

Seats, Staking & Rental Eligibility

Publishing an edge isn't free, on purpose. A seat bounds who can publish, and a stake makes quality have skin in the game. If there is rental demand and the source meets marketplace rules, rental proceeds may split between the Agent NFT shell owner and the BYO source operator.

⚠️
Roadmap — Phase 2. Splits, stake sizes, fee schedules, royalties, and examples below are illustrative only, not final, not live, and not guaranteed. Final terms will be published before launch. See Tokens.

Seat

  • Publishing a signal source requires an Agent NFT slot.
  • Slots per tier: Common 2 · Rare 3 · Legendary 4. A rarer shell can run more edges at once.
  • The fixed supply (5,000 NFTs) is what keeps the creator population — and the support load — bounded.

Stake

  • Publishing requires a slashable $SGHI stake — a quality bond against spam and self-dealing.
  • Stake is at risk if the source is caught manipulating (see Anti-Abuse).
  • Higher stake may unlock better quotas and fee terms, subject to final launch rules.

Rental eligibility

Detail
Shell owner shareThe Agent NFT holder may receive a listed share if the shell is rented and payout conditions are met
Source operator shareThe BYO creator may receive a listed share if the live source is attached, active, and eligible
Protocol take-rateThe protocol may take a fee for settlement, scoring, delivery and anti-abuse rails (~20% draft target)
Secondary royaltyA small royalty (~5% draft target) may apply when the NFT itself trades, subject to marketplace support
Metered deliveryPremium channels (SMS/API) are metered in $SGHI to cover marginal cost

Illustrative only:

Agent listed at 0.05 SOL/day × 7 days = 0.35 SOL gross if rented

Reputation and renter demand

Under the recommended Ownership & Transfer model, reputation has two linked surfaces:

  • The Agent NFT shell keeps marketplace history, rental history, attached-source receipts, and transfer history.
  • The BYO source keeps operator history, emitted-signal performance, probation, and slashing history.
  • A Proven live combination may become more attractive to renters if its live record is strong, but demand and pricing are not guaranteed.
  • Dumping a bad Agent or bad source to escape a record doesn't work — new sources start from probation with zero history.

Pay in $SGHI or SOL

  • $SGHI is the incentive layer; USD/SOL is the unit of account.
  • Paying fees in $SGHI may be eligible for a discount; staking $SGHI may improve quotas and fee terms under final rules.
  • See Tokens for how payment and staking work.
💡
The model is deliberately bounded: a one-time seat caps the population, explicit source licenses clarify ownership, protocol fees can fund the rails if activity occurs, and a stake keeps quality honest. Numbers are still being tuned.
